About
Jessica Brackett is an Orlando-based artist with ties in LA, Chicago, and London. She works in sculpture, painting, and installation. Through her work, she seeks to falsify the familiar and elevate the mundane. Working in still life, she uses plants, insects, and water as metaphor for the human condition. She received her BFA in Painting and Art History from the Kansas City Art Institute. Her paintings can be seen throughout the US, and Asia, as well as featured 3 years in a row on Emmy-Winning hit television series Portlandia.
